Before the fireworks

New Year's Eve is a pretty awful time for animals when the fireworks go off at midnight. With our house & stables right in the centre of the village where a large group collect to fire off their greetings, it's particularly difficult. #
Here Angie about to take the horses out to a field where they can spend the night. Silvan (l) and Rosie (r) with Rosie showing off our Western Riding Club's "wander" Christmas Saddle Pad that we had one at the Christmas Party. It is a "wander" prize as it is so gaudy that nobody ever uses it and it is handed back the following year for some other poor soul to be the proud owner.
