End of Spring Festival

It's the first full moon day after lunar new year and the last day of Spring Festival. In China, you can see the celebration to hang many lanterns on their gates or along streets. The lanterns on the photo are for lunar new year celebrations, and it will be taken away tomorrow.

There have been many Chinese immigrants in Kobe from 150 years ago, and China town called "Nankinmachi" attracts both tourists and locals.

I went out for a meeting of a study group of oral record research group of Kobe Overseas Chinese History Museum in Motomachi this afternoon. After the meeting, I bought dumplings with sesame paste at a grocery store in Nankinmachi. Many Chinese customers also visit the store to buy them.
