Pill Box at sea

This second world war pill box was on top of the cliffs not so long ago, but was a good subject for todays socially distanced photo workshop at Bawdsey .  Erosion on the East Coast is getting worse and several falls have occurred recently.  Even standing and watching, you see handfuls of soil crumbling away as the sun dries the exposed subsoils.  Fossil hunters love the place, but it can be very dangerous getting to close to the base of the cliff.
