Rangi’s Seat

1st January, 2021..... onwards and upwards, we must hold out hope. 
We walked the cliff track this morning, meeting neighbours for a long chat, then friends....took much longer than usual, all good though. 

This beautifully carved seat was erected in memory of Rangi a local young man who died tragically in a motor bike accident not far from where we live.  I remember that tragic night vividly. 

Garden pottering this afternoon. This evening we have light rain, we’re hoping for lots of rain. 

A couple of nights back we watched the classic movie The Shawshank Redemption that I had recorded.  A movie I loved way back and enjoyed it a second time.  Still in keeping with prison life tonight we’re watching The Green Mile, one I hadn’t seen.
