Lichens...

...on the wall...
Delayed our walk til this aft as the forecast looked better then - most of the snow has gone, but it was icy rain and sleet this morning. Turned out to be a good decision as we even had some blue skies at 2pm! 
Just a quick turn round the block - and I spotted the lichen on the drystone wall as we passed. Not quite a flower - but a wintry version of vegetation nevertheless... 

Happy New Year All - 2020 has finally made an exit... Both of our choices for  CORONA CLASSICS this evening celebrate the fireworks ( and drones and laser shows ) welcoming in the New Year.
