Craw (upstart)

After a slow start that included porridge for breakfast we set out for a walk - we were intending to circumnavigate the sewage plant at Seafield which includes a section of sea wall, but only got to the end of Leith Links and decided against it - just too many patches of slippery-ness underfoot. Heard later that there was a big crowd of folk at Wardie Bay doing a Loony Dook (even loonier than usual) that the polis had to disperse, and I just saw Trev's blip of Porty beach.

On our way home I heard the craw before I saw him, carking away, feathers all ahoo, at the top of the weathervane. They are such clever birds, but don't seem to care how they look at all!

Happy New Year to blippers one and all!

(Edit: just watched the Lockdown edition of Upstart Crow!)
