Beating the Snowplow

I didn’t beat the snowplow out on the walking path this morning and that’s not a good thing, because when the plow goes through it leaves a sheet of ice under the snow it moves, and my walk is considerably slower! 
Grateful for...a quiet house while everyone else went skiing. I just didn’t feel like going today, so I spent the day cleaning and baking cookies. It was just what I needed!
