A brisk early morning walk

Darren as never been one for sleeping in, he always gets out of bed pretty early and despite the way he’s feeling at the moment he’s still up and about early.
It was a sunny but a very cold brisk walk this morning, we walked around the reservoir and it was very quiet, unlike later in the day when the reservoir becomes very busy, the past 10 months as seen an explosion in the number of people visiting the reservoir.
Darren would like to thank everybody who as left a comment since Christmas Day, he very much appreciates them and as read everyone, but he knows he hasn’t replied to all of them yet, he will try to reply to all even if it’s just a thank you.
Grief is such a personal experience and Darren as found this period of his life very difficult, living on his own probably doesn’t help in a situation like this, all the COVID restrictions don’t help at all, he’s spoken to family members on phone but hasn’t seen any in person. In the circumstances he’s probably coping as well as can be expected.
The funeral date as been set and instead of buying flowers for the funeral the family have decided to use that money and give it to the Parkinson’s uk charity as Darren’s dad had had Parkinson’s for 12 years. Darren’s brother as set up a justgiving page for the family to donate, but it’s open to anyone to contribute, a link is below if you think it’s something you would like to do.
Thank you.
