Life on the go

Difficult Choice

Difficult Choice. Sometime in the few days we will start our next jigsaw. We had two jigsaws for Christmas. Gonna be interesting. The first is a jigsaw of 299 cats and a dog 'Only' 300 BUT they are not conventional pieces, they fit together as curves. You can take the easy option of doing the puzzle on the supplied diagram but that is not going to happen, we will take the more difficult path and do it on a board. Here lies the second problem it does not fit either of our two jigsaw boards. I going to look at my supply of MDF and see if I have a bit big enough but as we will not be having anyone for a meal for the foreseeable future we could just do it straight on the dinning table. The second jigsaw is 'The Starry Night' by Vincent Van Gogh. This is made up for 1000  pieces as per our normal size BUT they are all the same shape! To help, to a certain extent the puzzle is divided into 6 smaller rectangles and labelled A to F on the back of each bit. So you are working on a smaller area :) Should be fun. To make the choice we are going toss a coin We will be using a 1960  Threepenny Bit (pronounced thruppenny bit). Best of three of course. (Afternote: Vincent won)
