Arthur's Seat

About half of Edinburgh decided to climb Arthur's Seat. 

The paths were icy and horrible and the majority of people were under prepared and made them selves either miserable or hysterical on the trudge to the top. I saw more than one tumble. 

But it was a glorious day, not a cloud, not too cold, lovely views. The only down side being that in previous years I would pop into the Regent on the way home for a coffee or a toddy.

Not so this New Year.
