#2 St Alkmund's

Sorry has been a bit of a wait between this and the last one but here we go.

I don't really know Whitchurch very well but we went there to have a little nose around. Funny moving 10 miles has meant Whitchurch is now only 11 miles away, great fun to have a look. A bustling little town centre with some nice independent shops, good deli as well!

St Alkmund's (grid ref SJ541417) dominates the town of Whitchurch and as the door was open it was lovely to have a nose around. I may not be a religious type but I do like a good church. It really is a beautiful building as well, unlike some churches which are a little cold, dark and austere for my taste this one is light and welcoming.
