Walking

This morning, I'd hoped to go for a walk with A, taking in the sunrise, but falling snow at 08:30 put an end to that! However, it was soon clearing, and we set off up the Monks Rig from Ninemileburn. Once the sun "rose" over the thick clouds disappearing into the east, it was wonderful. There was enough snow to be pretty, but not so much to make walking hard work. There were great views in all directions [see extras]

In the afternoon, I went into Edinburgh, where I met up with my friend M and had a long chat walking in the surprisingly snowy Meadows, which were beautifully lit by the lowering sun, and not too full of people making the most of the conditions!
