Connecting

We had a very quick drive through Boston to Southern New Hampshire to T's sister's this afternoon. We had some things to drop off for her and were planning to drop off Christmas presents at her daughter's (the family with identical twin boys) on the way home. But, as luck would have it, T's niece and the boys were dropping things off for C as well.We have not seen them in a year. The boys were so much taller, and Logan has just had a growth spurt and is now taller than Jacob, so it's easier to tell them apart. Unfortunately the dad was at home. I hadn't seen T's sister, C since February. T had not seen her since July when C had a hip replacement and T stayed with her.

It was exciting to be out, seeing the Boston skyline, the Zakim Bridge and a beautiful sunset sky with amazing purple and blue cloud banks. We're safe and sound back home, the traffic was light and it was wonderful to see and connect even if it was just for a short time.

For the Record,
This day came in with clouds after a rainy night, but the sun did come out by afternoon.

All hands wary.
