Muddy foreshore

Woke up to an early(ish) alarm today, so that we could catch the low tide for some mudlarking.  Went to Charlton again - and didn't find much, again - but it was just nice to be out by the river.  We'd both wrapped up warm as it was only about 3 degrees - apart from frozen fingers, I was fine, but Tim got chilled through a bit more quickly and retreated to the car half an hour before me.

Came home to defrost with a hot drink and some lunch, then had a fairly relaxed afternoon.  I cleaned my meagre finds (broke a delicate button in the process, d'oh), played on the PS4, cut Tim's hair and made chicken soup for dinner.  Finished off the last of the Christmas pud this evening, rounding off the Christmas holidays quite nicely :)
