Shapely branches on a bare tree above a quiet, wet road. It's rained for much of the day, though often while the sun shone. No rainbows, though!
Little Miss B doesn't mind the rain. So the third time she donned her wellies and stood by the back door, Mr PP put on his coat, helped her into hers, and accompanied her into the garden. She loves trotting round, looking, touching, smelling things. One of her new words is "rain". She's certainly being given lots of opportunities to practise saying it.
We popped out this afternoon and were pleased to notice that it was still daylight (just!) at four o' clock: a sure sign that the nights are drawing out again. Hooray!
