Tenth day of Christmas

Haha, took out a camera with a spent battery today - so came home and grabbed another camera and walked across the lane to shoot this. Archipelago (with capital A) is the Aegean Sea and with a small 'a' any sea containing many islands.

        I first was aware of Riu Riu Chiu playing the tune instrumentally with a recorder group many years ago. There are many excellent YouTube renditions but I chose that from Clare College who have recently released a recording of Mediæval and Renaissance music through Harmonia Mundi.
