Stella again

Despite the sunshine my day has been fairly dull - laundry management, ironing and getting 'stuff' ready for back to school tomorrow. I have caught up with The Hotel though!

Ben cooked a fat club lamb biryani for tea. It was lush although the children weren't convinced by lamb. Apparently chicken would be better.

Stella has spent most of the day locked in Ally's bedroom as I'm terrified she will escape otherwise - my family are not known for the door shutting abilities despite me knowing that none of the children were born in a barn...

Bella was happy to play with her with a laser toy just before bed and Stella seemed to enjoy it. She's still very nervous of us all but will deign to come for a brief fuss if she fancies it!
