Mono Monday (response to.....)

The challenge was intriguing this week but the prompt inspired me to photograph the ducks in our garden.
If you want to know the link, they remind me of my son when he was a young school boy and as we he was just going to school one frosty morning, he decided to test the ice on the pond.  His nice school shoes went straight through and he ended up going to school in his trainers!!
