Murrayfield

We had volunteered to be part of a Scottish survey group for Covid-19, just after Christmas and today a health professional called round for the first visit this morning. We had to take a swab ourselves from the throat and nostrils (not particularly pleasant) and will do this every week for a month. In addition a blood sample was taken to see if we have antibodies. We’ll get the results fairly soon; should be interesting. There are similar studies in England and Wales; not sure about Northern Ireland. We went out after lunch for a walk and headed west into Roseburn Park. The thaw continued overnight and all this has done is pool the water over the frozen ground as in this blip of Murrayfield Stadium. The extra is of a Panda face in the ice on the setts in the street and as with the Pandas at the zoo it will be away soon.

Best on black.
