Old and New

Managed to get a couple of hours out today as it was late i headed for my favourite woodland, the light was very grey and flat so macro seemed the order of the day, I thought this new bud just starting to emerge amongst the old leaves was just the thing to lift the spirits and confirm that spring is on the way.
