The jewel of the crown

The Royal Monastery of San Jeronimo is not a very well known monument in Granada but it is certainly worth a visit.
It was built to be used as a pantheon for Gonzalo Fernández de Cordoba, the Great Captain, a very important general at the time of the Catholic Monarchs.
Today my sister Isabel and I paid the obligatory visit to this church. We like visiting it every year.  Nobody else came with us and there were no other tourists, as usual in this strange COVID summer.
In the extra you can see the two of us smiling at the mirror in the vestry of the church.
