Look out, not in

Lockdown reading

In the spring I started reading Ian Rankine's first Rebus novel 'Knots and Crosses'. Twenty three books later and here we are in lockdown again. I've been lucky; my husbands job is secure and well paid, my family are well, I have a beautiful grand daughter born during lockdown and the enforced solitude has suited me quite well. I'm sad and anxious for those who haven't survived lockdown unscathed, my thoughts go out to them. Who knows how the next few months will go. Not even Rebus can solve that one.
