Into the Mystic

"Hark, now hear the sailors cry, smell the sea and feel the sky" Van Morrison (1970)

It was a lovely morning and for once I didn't leave it too late before going out. This footpath took me out onto the valley side overlooking Teignmouth with the Ness headland easily identifiable on the horizon. There was a cold wind and a bit of mistiness out to sea. I thought it had a mystical look and that's what made me think of the song title.

It's Wide Wednesday (hosted by BobsBlips) and 'Song Titles' is the theme this week. 'Into the Mystic' is a song by Van Morrison from his 1970 album 'Moondance'. The song has been featured in many films and I think that was how I first came across it although I can't remember the movie now.
