A much better day

Lockdown 3 started with the sun shining, so we decided to extend our exercise by joining two of our walks together. First we went around the quarry to allow the doggies a run and then we headed out past Morrisons toward Burton Riggs ( a local nature reserve). On the way we spotted a demolition crew at the old Hungry Horse pub, they are pulling it down to make way for a drive through Costa Coffee and a KFC.

When we arrived at the lakes the water was so high and nearly all the paths were flooded , you can just see the flooded path from my blip.

Home in time for a coffee and a piece of Christmas cake, then my son phoned from Amsterdam. 

We had a pretty lazy afternoon then out with the doggies and got caught in a hail storm.
