Brave Blind Bruce

My daughter and I and our dogs met at the Top Field for an hour of exercise. The dogs absolutely loved playing together and meeting the other hounds. When they're happy it makes us happy.

We met, and all of us loved, Bruce the blind lab. He used to work for the Metropolitan Police and was given the PDSA Award of Merit for outstanding devotion to duty on 22nd March 2017 when he and his handler attended the terrorist attack on Westminster Bridge. Even though he is now blind he was wagging all the time and seemed to enjoy meeting Ollie and Frankie dogs.

I shot Kes again this afternoon in lovely light. He was perched at the top of a Christmas tree with the sticky buds forming in the background. (Extras)
