A slippery Walk

The bathroom is almost ready for my work to start - the papering! Took a drive into town as had to get some stuff for the tea and thought would take a walk over the railway bridge and down side of Rodney. All was fine till I got off the bridge and met two ladies coming other way saying they had to turn back as the path was like a skating rink.

In the afternoon we had a FaceTime with Ben and him and Breagha had a chat. Another close run game of Carcassone the a knock on the door it was Ben needing a drink (or rather a sweet) when they were out walking.

Evening was the judging of the Grant Cup for the camera club and lo and behold my husband shot of Gillian at a building outside Belem in Lisbon was the winner.

During that there was the unreal scenes of Trumps white supremist scum storming the Capitol, not a police or national guard stopping them. Then being allowed to roam inside flying the Confederate slave flag. Absolutely shocking sight and where was the big police presence that the BLM had a few months ago. What a disgusting country. The world watched in horror!!

Good to see and hear more elderly in Scotland getting their vaccine.
