2013 Garden Started

We enjoyed a most excellent late winter / early spring day today.

We decided this afternoon was auspicious to start working on our 2013 garden.

Our garden area in the community garden space has moved.

Two of our fellow gardeners invited us to join them in a newly vacated, well developed area of the community garden.

We will have three 4X6 foot raised beds and a 16X16 foot garden area to plant in.

We spent the afternoon cleaning up the area, pruning back some existing plants, moving a dirt pile, and starting turning over the garden.

Whew, we're pooped this evening.
