Power Blue

It started of cloudy with a few spots of rain. By the afternoon it  brighten up and become really warm.

My friends were going to come over today for a visit but put it off until tomorrow because the weather in Christchurch wasn't very good. It was wet and a strong wind blowing. We had no wind in Akaroa. I mamged to do some gardening in the afternoon once the ground dried out as we did have some heavy falls over night.

When we use to live in Christchurch this Hydrangea was pink but it is a wonderful power blue here. I did put another cutting in the vegetable garden here in Akaroa and it is flowering this year and is pink.
