Giddy up.....

Another frosty morning here which meant wearing an extra layer or two for a walk through the woods with mum. 

 Not much birdlife to be spotted so they had the right idea and must have been still tucked up in bed! The horses were back in their field though and the magpies seemed to be enjoying having free pony rides!

Noticeable drop in temperature as we walked home so I wonder if we will finally see some of the snow that keeps being forecast.  The birds in the garden seem to be eating more than ever so maybe they know something... or they've just already given up on their diets for the year!
