Big thaw on the CaleyCanal

There has been quite a dramatic thaw today with temperatures going from -2, yesterday, to +5, today. The ice on the canal is fast breaking up and the kingfishers will be able to fish again. I didn't see any today, just a rather puzzled looking penguin.
