another beetle....

This is beetle week in Zambia - they are coming out of everywhere and they are all quite big!!  This guy was moving swiftly along....

I cleared out a lot of fabric that I have had for years!  Every time I move in Africa one of the favourite gifts is the colourful chitenge material that many African women wear!  Now there is only so much I can use!  So, I cleared out my fabric - filled 4 large bags (I did keep some) and gave it to four different people (who will probably make clothes for their kids or even themselves with it)!

Then Blessings, who use to work for me came to visit and he got one of the bags!  He has 3 children so hopefully they can make some new clothes!
