Water for thirsty plants

I am so grateful to have a borehole and irrigation system for my garden in the heat of summer, and never ending drought.
It was so strange having a video chat with my daughter in New York this evening as she went for a walk warmly dressed and drinking coffee  to keep warm, while I was so hot and drinking iced water!
