Happy hens

New Year, new straw! I gave the hen house a good clean out this morning and the hens a nice thick layer of straw in their run.  They've got lots of cabbages from our neighbours Ruth and Jimmy, and I made them a bran mash to warm them up! 

I'm expecting lots of eggs in return!
