Stood the test of time!

Severe frost overnight again ! -7 to start the day however temperature has risen eventually around mid afternoon , icy surfaces starting to thaw and rain forecast for later tonight!

Delivered shopping to neighbour after My delivery arrive from Mr Tesco delivered before breakfast , the very kind driver put some salt on my front steps, he don’t want me to slip ! How thoughtful !
Had a power walk up the village again, bit windier today and wind chill was well below actual temperature ! Good to stride out!
I’ve walked this post box on the wall of teen however the initials caught my eye today!
ER V11 is King Edward the 7th he was Queen Victoria’s son , he became King in 1901 until his death in 1910 , the people of Auchterarder have been posting letters through this box for over 100 years !
