Dog tracks

There is clearly a dog in the picture.
There are no tracks any more - this is where the railway line connecting Balloch Central station ran along to connect with Balloch Pier station.
Balloch Pier station was no longer needed after the Maid of the Loch steamer stopped sailing in the early 1980s, so the station closed in the mid-80s and the tracks were removed. Balloch Central became simply Balloch, however even after all this time it's still printed as Balloch Central on the train tickets!
