Acorn

Jenny bought me this acorn growing vase. I started trying to grow the acorn in October and thought I'd failed. You have to wrap it in wet paper towels and seal in a ziplock bag checking every two weeks until the root appears in 4-6 weeks. I was almost on the verge of giving up but suddenly it appeared and so I popped it on the vase and it has grown to about two inches in the space of a week. Weird to think it could live for hundreds of years!
