Will it thaw?

Was bitter this morning and we left it till the afternoon to go for a walk. Started ok but began to drizzle then light rain. Pretty everywhere though with ice and snow. At bedtime however rain is heavier and it is slushy and yuk out the window.
Not a productive day but did a bit of cleaning and enjoyed roast chicken with sweet and sour leeks for dinner, unusual but enjoyable. Just finished season 2 of The Fall. Well worth a watch. Season 3 will start ASAP!!
