preparing to land

Cold grey day here. Went to Groby Pool to feed the birds and this gorgeous pair of geese swooped down and landed in the water a few feet away scattering all the ducks and seagulls. Next time I'm taking the big camera to see if I can catch them actually landing on the water. Ended up almost jogging back to the car as they didn't believe they'd eaten all the bread!
