Surviving the Cold

I love pansies, maybe because although delicate looking they are one of the flowers that is well able to survive the cold. Also it might have to do with the friendly looking faces - I blame Walt Disney for that thought (Alice in Wonderland) - and the varied colour they bring to the garden.
