A lovely splash of colour on a dull day!

There was a significant thaw during the night and all signs of ice and snow have disappeared .... the grass is green, the earth is brown and I can see the daffodils beginning to grow.

Further up the road at the Heritage Park there were still remains of the extreme wintery weather ..... the loch was still frozen underneath a thin layer of water and there were still compacted icy patches on the path and the grass.

I had the company of this little robin who came and stood on the stone right beside me. I was so annoyed that I hadn't brought me wee box of assorted nuts and seeds.
