Chestnut bud

We managed a 1 1/2 hour walk in Pollok Park today, busy despite the drizzle. The snow had all gone but there were a few very icy bits on the paths. There isn't much to see at this time of year, found a few snowdrops pushing through but nowhere near flowering yet.

Extras are of very brightly coloured fungi on a tree, and a robin and great tit. Someone had put seeds down on the top of a stone post, and the birds were perching on branches then swooping down very quickly to grab seeds and fly away again. It took a while for me to realise that they stayed still longer in the branch than on the post. Next time, I'll be better prepared and prepare the camera settings properly!
