A damp and dismal day...

We went back to walking the lanes via Upper Denby this aft, to find the chain I spotted earlier in the week - lots of rust, and the padlock isn't even fastened so I don't know how much use it is...

Booked a takeaway Sunday Dinner from the farm today - delicious local lamb! The pop-up parlour is closed as that involves queueing, but Thursday to Sunday you can pick up takeaway drinks and ice-cream "kits" as well as various meals from the restaurant. You ring or use the app and pay in advance, and choose a time slot so no-one else is around when you collect. Very efficiently done - and good to support a local business! Great Yorkshire puddings too...
