After a day of solitude, being with people whom I respect, admire, and truly love was a warm welcome on this rather cold day. Although rugged up, the wind reminded me of the harshness of reality that one experiences outside the comfort zone.

The end of the night was left at Blue Note Nagoya to see Roy Hargrove. An accomplished trumpet player who blends hip-hop, r'n'b, soul, funk, rock and jazz together in modern awesomeness. As my friend says, you need a license to play the basslines (and music) they play. SO cleansing and great.
