Old bridge

I go under this Victorian gem several days a week. The stones are covered in moss and ivy, and the shape of the archway is very pleasing, even on such a grey day. The other side, the deep banks are woven with gnarled tree roots. On darker days, one can image the Black Riders crashing through the undergrowth as the Hobbits hide below. If I remember correctly, Moseley Bog in Birmingham was the inspiration for the scene. It's not that far away from us in Kenilworth.
