Quote Of The Day
"We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them."
(Albert Einstein)

Coming Of Age Day in Japan, when young men and women aged twenty celebrate their entry into adulthood by dressing up in elegant clothes and attending a ceremony in a shrine. Young ladies (or more likely their parents) usually pay around $2,000 (£1,500) for a kimono, so they can be forgiven, I think, for removing their face masks to have a photo taken.

My daughter is twenty years old but she is a very sensible young lady who told us that it's a kimono is a waste of money just for one day. Instead, she went to a pizza shop that gave a free pizza to twenty year old customers today. That's why there was a slice of pizza waiting for me when I came home from work today. She's a treasure.
