I'm sitting in a very traditional Sunday morning public house with some very staid old relatives, probably on the way to church. Suddenly the door crashes open and an old friend cartwheels in, extremely refreshed and dressed for church in an old fashioned three piece suit. Having performed several competent cartwheels between the tables he moves to the bar, downs a pint of gravy and half a fizzy French lager and hands me two tickets to see Nick Cave.

Today I discover Nick Cave has cancelled his Barcelona gig.
