Look out shepherds / sailors

Out early for a walk this morning in the hope that there would be fewer idiots around that don't know what 2m looks like. Being early I didn't expect to have very good light.
I stepped out of my front door to be greeted by this sight, and even when I had got down to the lake there was still plenty of colour in the sky (see extra).
"Red sky in the morning shepherd's / sailor's warning" doesn't seem to apply around here as there aren't many sheep to have shepherds, and we are so far from the coast there aren't many sailors either.
