Ancient tree in Ickworth Park

This is the Tea Party Oak in Ickworth Park, Suffolk, so called because apparently the villagers of nearby Horringer used to hold tea parties under its boughs. Quite when this happened isn't stated on the plaque you can see in the photo, but the tree (Quercus Robur) is over 700 years old so it could be at any time during that period I guess!
