Lockdown No3 - Day 7

According to local legend, St Keyna, a beautiful 5th Century British Princess, left her father's court in Wales and came to England. She found out from a person who lived in the village that the marshy area was swarming with snakes. St Keyna prayed to the heavens and turned the snakes to stone. You can find these stone serpents/ammonites dotted around town, built into peoples walls as decoration.

A milder day of 8 degrees, and a windy, mizzly day, Passed this “snake” on the way to sort out the paper bill that I’d tried, but failed, to sort over the phone. Just one of today’s numerous interesting phone calls: trying in vane to sort out the pension palaver, chasing up District Nurses and eventually managing to book vaccine appointments for my parents at the local GP surgery, huge relief!

Take care, stay safe and well...
