The calm before the storm

There is a Class 3 warning for bad weather issued for our part of the country - the highest warning level! I was out for a walk at lunch, and not much was happening. It's picked up since then, but the snow seems to be turning to sleet so instead of up to 70 cm of snow we may get a snow-rain mix. Not pleasant - much heavier snow to remove. We'll see what's happened in the morning.
